Dirigido por Maxi Blanco y Agustín Alberdi, el nuevo videoclip de Julieta Venegas, “Despedida”, se rodó a mediados de julio. Las imágenes fueron tomadas en dos etapas: en la primera se escogió la ciudad de Tandil, en Argentina, uno de los paisajes más hermosos del país sudamericano. La segunda parte fue filmada en el Municipio de Isidro Fabela, en el Estado de México.

Agustín Alberdi, Co-Director del video “Despedida” y Director del video “Bien o Mal”, primero de la mismo disco, comenta al respecto: "El clip sigue la línea de "Bien o mal", propone una paleta de significados para que cada espectador proyecte y le dé un sentido personal. La poética se refiere a las relaciones y las imágenes son metáforas, proyecciones en mi mente de la letra. Las letras de Julieta son muy sugestivas y nunca absolutas”.

Y agrega: “Es apto para todo público y me animaría a decir que para los más chicos es una comedia muy divertida. Las relaciones tienen muchos momentos, la despedida es sólo uno de ellos, el que está antes del próximo encuentro".

La gira “Otra Cosa” continuará en 2011 por México, Estados Unidos, Latinoamérica y España.

Directed by Maxi Blanco and by Agustín Alberdi, the new video for Julieta Venegas’ song “Despedida” was shot in mid-July. Images were shot in two stages: in the first one, the setting was one of Argentina’s most beautiful landscapes, the city of Tandil. The second part took place in the Isidro Fabela municipality, Mexico.

Agustín Alberdi, codirector of the video for “Despedida” and director of the video for “Bien o Mal”, the album’s first single, says: "The clip is along the lines of ‘Bien o Mal’, with multiple meanings, so that each viewer can watch it and attach to it his or her personal feelings. The poetics refers to the relations, and the images are metaphors, projections of my mind on the lyrics. Julieta’s lyrics are very suggestive and never absolute.”

And he adds: “It is suitable for any audience, and I would even dare say that for the young ones, it is a very funny comedy. The relations have a lot of moments; the farewell is only one of them, the one that precedes the next encounter."

The “Otra Cosa” tour will continue in 2011 through Mexico, the United States, Latin America and Spain.
