La ceremonia de premiación se llevará a cabo el jueves 29 de abril desde el Coliseo de Puerto Rico, en San Juan, Puerto Rico

Miami, FL (10 de febrero, 2010) – El sello discográfico Sony Music se complace en anunciar las nominaciones de sus artistas Gilberto Santa Rosa, Shakira, La Quinta Estación, Vicente Fernández, Ednita Nazario, Reik, El Compa Chuy, Alexis & Fido, Marc Anthony y Calle 13 a los prestigiosos premios Billboard Latino.

The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 29, from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, in San Juan, Puerto Rico

Miami, FL (February 10, 2010) – The Sony Music record label is proud to present its nominees to the Billboard Latin Music Awards! Gilberto Santa Rosa, Shakira, La Quinta Estación, Vicente Fernández, Ednita Nazario, Reik, El Compa Chuy, Alexis & Fido, Marc Anthony and Calle 13 will all compete for this prestigious music award. Also nominated are artists whose music is distributed by Sony: Luis Enrique (Top Stop Music),Daddy Yankee (El Cartel), Aventura (Premium Latin), Víctor Manuelle (Kiyavi) and Pitbull (Mr. 305). TRIUMPHED LAST NIGHT AT THE 52ND ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS…

HIS FIRST AMERICAN GRAMMY!

He’s known for his more than 40 years of impeccable artistic excellence, of continually refreshing his discography and list of hits. El Compa Chuy es una de las más reciente contrataciones de Sony Music, sin embargo en muy poco tiempo ha pasado a ser todo un ídolo entre los amantes de la música regional mexicana. Y para cerrar el año con broche de oro, su álbum “El Niño De Oro” recibió una nominación al GRAMMY™ Americano 2010 en la categoría de “Mejor Álbum Norteño”.

Este joven compositor y cantante sinaloense fue sin duda el artista revelación del 2009. “El Katch” fue la canción más caliente de la radio durante este año. Además, se ha convertido en el corrido más exitoso de los últimos años.

Para la edición No. 52 de la entrega de los premios Grammy™, el grupo Cumbre Norteña ha recibido el honor de formar parte de las listas de nominados bajo la categoría de “Mejor Álbum Norteño”.

Lo primero que expresaron –llenos de emoción– los integrantes de Cumbre Norteña fue: “¡Esto es algo sorprendente e inesperado! Hay muchos artistas que nunca han tenido la oportunidad de ser nominados a este premio, y por esto nosotros nos sentimos agradecidos con Dios y nuestro publico.
