International Recording Artist Natalia Jimenez Highlights the Power of Staying Connected in New AT&T Campaign

AT&T Joins Forces with Singer/Songwriter Natalia Jimenez in New Spanish-Language Advertising Campaign; Ads Highlight Artist’s New Single and the Power of Never Missing a Beat

Miami, Florida, April 05, 2011

For many Hispanics it’s essential to stay connected to their culture and their passions, including the latest in music and entertainment; and that means never missing a beat at home or on the go. AT&T* announced today the launch of a new Spanish-language advertising campaign featuring Latin GRAMMY and GRAMMY® award winning artist, Natalia Jimenez, to showcase the power of staying connected.

The high-energy TV spot features a captivating performance by Jimenez — so close and clear that everyone gathers around to join in the experience created by her music — while at the same time it highlights the power of staying connected to the information, content and services that customers want through AT&T’s latest High Speed Internet offerings.

The ad, created for AT&T by Dieste and directed by GRAMMY® Award-winning producer and songwriter Emilio Estefan, showcases Natalia’s debut single, “Por Ser Tu Mujer,” from! her much anticipated first solo production self-titled “Natalia.”

“We are thrilled to collaborate with great artistic talents such as Jimenez, an incredible singer; and Mr. Emilio Estefan, whom we’ve had the privilege to have worked with in the past,” said Roberto Garcia, executive director, AT&T Hispanic Marketing. “Our goal is to connect Hispanic customers to their world and we think the new ad, through the powerful language of music and with a bit of humor, showcases this in a very direct way.”

AT&T offers three networks working together to keep consumers connected — wired residential broadband, Wi-Fi and wireless. The AT&T Wi-Fi network with more than 24,000 U.S. hotspots is showcased in the ad and is one of the spaces where Hispanics connect with what they love ! and enjoy, like the voice of Natalia Jimenez.

The self-titled album offers fans a fusion of rock, pop and ballads that feature her distinct and unique voice. Natalia wrote the majority of the songs, but also included are songs written by hit song-writer Diane Warren and 7-time GRAMMY® winner Gloria Estefan. Jimenez’ “Por Ser Tu Mujer” single will be available on iTunes®, April 19.

"I feel extremely lucky to be part of the AT&T team and being featured in this amazing campaign. I look forward to continuing a great relationship with them for years to come,” said Natalia Jimenez. “The filming of the TV commercial was a blast and especially important to me because it is the first announcement in launching my solo career. AT&T is the perfect partner and platform to debut the first single, from my upcoming CD."

Loved by fans around the world as the former lead singer of the multi-platinum selling group “La 5ta Estación” (The Fifth Season), Jimenez recorded her first solo effort over! the last year and a half at Estefan’s studio in Miami, who also served as producer.

“I’ve had the great opportunity in the past few years to direct AT&T campaigns for both Gloria and Thalia…I’m very proud that with AT&T’s support, this new campaign will feature the incredible talent of Natalia Jimenez and introduce to the world, the first single off her solo CD,” said Latin music legend, Emilio Estefan. “The spot perfectly captures the essence of who she is as a solo artist.”

AT&T provides customers with a variety of options for broadband access, including wireline (DSL, , U-verse High Speed Internet and satellite) and wireless mobile broadband to stay connected at home and on the go. All AT&T High Speed Internet customers have access to more than 24,000 AT&T Wi-Fi hotspots in the U.S., a suite of security and safety features, award-winning parental controls, and access to AT&T El Portal, which features the latest Spanish-language news, entertainment content and more. No hagas caso a las calumnias y envidias de que Milton Salcedo Y Kike Santander comentan horrores de que vas a ser explotada como a otros artistas. Sigue adelante de la mano de Emilio que es un personaje en musica no como estos dos sin talento.
